All right... I've got my new bike and I am currently stripping the old one of the parts that belong to other bikes and of parts that are still in ggod order, to sell.
For those interested... I have a Monty Bar and Stem a front Monty wheel, straight as. a set of Magurs hs 33 brakes with the monty Y splitters and a set of brand new sugino cranks and f*g BB that come on the monty.
Make a reasonable offer on any of them and I will pass them on.
I am not after a huge amount... I just mean reasonable
Oh and Dave Cyclorama have a silent clutch rear hub... brand new for $50 bucks... see Jo the mechanic about it and say that i sent you in.

meh.. you can have them i guess.
or i could buy the brakes off brad and give you (dave) a rear magura trials brake set. it's australian rear.. i don't have clamps.. nor pads to spare though. and u probably need to buy a longer tube cos i fit that on my front. yes give.
if u don't like that i'm gonna have a cry... haha jks. its up to you.. i'm in no hurry to build up my old 26".

Brad, I might be interested in the stem too. Will it fit my Azonic bars and Norco fork tube?

The stem is for a bulge bar so no it wont fit your azonic . Only Monty brisa and the trials type bulge bars fit. Its cool I wont charge that much for them if you take the brakes stem and bars. It will fit on your forks no worries though. Although it will suc not being able to use your azonic gear.... its up to you. The Monty Bar and stem will set you up nicely. I've got some (I think i've got a pair anyway) of brand new magura mounts for the evo mounts/v-brake mounts

oh and have you gone down to sort out that hub??
I wouldn't leave it too long!!

Brad, you heard that hub was a 32 spoker? Discussed with Robin "Burnt-Out-From-Organising-Us-Slack-Asses" and he seemed to think it a good idea I get it plus a 32 hole rim. Do you have a 32 rim available that'd be suitable as a rear wheel?? I'd hate to get rid of my Mammoth 36, would it cost me more to get a decent 36 hub to match it? As for brakes, stem, bars etc, check the messages bit...

I'm happy with that price... see messages for reply about the rim too. At the price that the hub is I'd think that you'd be better off buying that and another rim... rather thatn getting another hub and paying more for it. Have you got a price on one yet?? I think they are about 150ish? If you have the cash you can either come to my place to get the gear... or wait till we organise a ride... which may possibly be the informal comp for me... I'm just taking it slow with my back.

ha ha ha .. and you guys thought my bike was funny before.. it now has HS33's with 3 (three) brake levers, coz my shifter is integral with the V-brake lever.. will get Cyclerama to build rear wheel, get a cheap gripshift, Truvativ cranks/BB and my Norco machine should be a runner I may also attempt to make a decent bashring using the equipment at Uni.. better than my home hacksaw jobbies..

Cool... all you need to make a bash ring is a jigsaw and a stencil of the design you want and about 6-8mm thick ally

Bit late there bud... Brad sold that stuff to Dave a little while back. He's still got his cranks though.
You're actually about an hour late on my stuff too; I just offered my bar'n stem combo to Daniel.

nah, they're 1 1/8 inch diameter, which as far as i worked out is 'normal'. If anyone knows better, please let us know! Besides, when scoping in Cyclerama I saw some real cheap PROFILE stems made for the bigger (1 1/4" ?) bars. I mean real cheap like $30 - $40....
