That hayes Brad runs is bloody awesome.... The louise's were designed to be lightweight - not strong. In fact, they're crap. But they're good enough for a front on a trials bike.

yeah a new front XT is about rrp $370 without hub. I've bought the hs33 pair and an XT front disc hub for $280. Anyone want a new HS33 with right hand lever? That link i showed you is a bit expensive - for used stuff. probably get one from hk's, just front should be cheap. interested in changing to XT robin? i'll ask the price for a set if so. (left and right levers )

Sorry neil, saving money... But yeah, the old louises are said to be stronger. I can't vouch for that myself though.

Im not sure if your looking for a set or just a front but if it is for trials i strongly reccomend an 185 or 203mm avid mech. I know your going to think it will be dog poo, simply because its mechanical but they have awsome lockup power. A few of us use them here. alexm (canberratrials owner) prefers it to his magura louise, which was pretty amazing. Anyway they are cheap, just a thought. PS - Get XTR levers and housing too. I got my gear from www.chainreactioncycles.com . Its a uk site.
