endos !!
Hey guys, do you reckon it's better to go for a shimano front disk versus the Louise, I have to admit I have seen them slip a bit, they dont seem to grab really hard, is this so ??
I'm just ordering some more parts, I'm ordering some of the RB designs aftermarket HS33 levers, anyone know if there any good

Louises are piss-weak man. Both in braking and err... breaking... They're designed to be light, not strong. It's good enough for trials, but I think you'll save your fingers quite a bit with other brands.
Brad runs (ran) a hayes disc with 8" rotor on his bike. HUGE difference, MUCH better.
Then again, there is a big difference in cost, and availablilty of spare parts in case you damage them might be an issue.

will find out next week - i'll have a spare XT brake but it's left hand lever. spare right hand hs33 too.
where are you getting the rb lever from luke -biketrialsaustralia.com ? i'm after the RB Design Picola 1 Booster $55 (magura 4-bolt booster)... let me know before you order! can go in together.
ps if you're after louise, can get new stock 2001 model (same as 99) for $310 delivered on ebay - for a pair.

Well anything is better than a f u c k i n g s h i t 160mm RST cable disc from the mid 90's. I've found it also helps if you have spokes on your wheel. why do your videos have austrialshiit.com at the start alex?

Um I orderd all my parts today from biketrialsoz but the RB HS33 levers and the magura specific RB brake booster for neils was out a stock. Brett reckons that it's like trying to pull teeth to get stuff from RB as only one guy talks engrish and hes hard to get hold of.
I spoke to peace mac about some middleburn cranks, ring and isis bottomb and I like the price very much so I think I'll be getting those, dave Ill have some spare FSA sqaure spline cranks If ya want them, perfectly good, have em for free if I get the middleburn.
Stay posted on the forks as I may backflip, I've been starting to bounce around on the front wheel well and dont want to give up stuff that needs a strong front brake so I may stick with the hs33 for a while.
I'm getting a pair of hayes with my Giant STP I ordered from highways, I'll see what there like and may get one for the Brisa, oh Giant are dog poo, they do the STP with v or disc mounts but wont sell the damn bike in OZ only the STP1 or 2 with Disc mounts only, I was hoping maybe in the future when I round out my trials skills I might be able to set the STP up as a street trials bike but oh well

Ah, for things like front wheel hops the louises will still be fine. You need surprising little power for that - just need to get the weight over. Keep up practice!

Im alex pv, alex m does the editing of the vids, everyone gets us confussed, anyway to cut a long story short dan said he would make a financial contribution to the site and he never did. Supprise supprise. Alex chews up a fair bit of bandwidth as you can imagine so the $$ would have been nice. Do you have your bike yet? Wow i just read my post. If you understand it well done.
