Hey everyone, although it seems only robin is active here. Im new to trials and iv just been refered to here from this thread : www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthread.php?p=308570#post308570So read that to find more details etc. Im after (most likely) a second hand 26" But im not sure if i want a stock yet, because I have never ridden a trials bike before so im not sure if a mod is for me or a stock. Btw robin is that monty still for sale? And remember, the faster you sell me a bike the faster ill be riding with you Infact I wouldnt mind riding on my current crappy mountain bike. So offers and suggestions (about mod or stock etc) are welcome.

Hey there!
Yes; things are quiet here, but we do have a few passive readers...
and YES, my monty is still for sale at $500. It's crude, but it's a fully functional trials bike, with Magura HS33 hydro rear, and Luise hydro front. Both probably need a quick bleed but I can do that.
If you are interested let me know and we can arrange for you to have a look at it when I'm back in town on the 18th?
Cheers!

Oh hell yes I'm interested !
The only thing I'm worried about is the lack of seat, because ill be using it to get from location to location (I'm only sixteen, hence no car , besides i prefere just cruizin the streets ;-D ) Is it a pain to ride with no seat?

You should probably be able to put a seat into as i think it has room for a seat post. Although riding without one is easy enough...

Howdy,
The monty has its own type of seat insert, but I do have the seat that came with it still. It's tiny; but I think it does qualify as a seat... Sort of...
If you're planning on riding around you might want to change the front gearing around a bit. But I'll leave that up to you.
It's selling cheap! It's no good just sitting in my shed, so if you're interested come and have a look next week - I'd be much happier if it was usefull to someone!
Cheers,
R.
