As next weekend is a long weekend, Robin and I have talked about geting a few rides in. I suggest that on Sat anyone that can help go to where ever luke has got all of this stuff, load up in the morning, cart it over to the lot, and spend the morning building stuff. we can have a luch break, go for a swim and go for a ride at Rouse Head. (For those who don't know where Rouse head is it is the bit of man made head land that is on the north side of the river there in freo.)
I don't know why we have never really gone there before, but I checked it out the other day, and it has got plenty of stuff to ride, for all levels, and is only just down the road from the lot.
If we do that on Sat, we can have sunday to recover and go for a ride on Monday some where. I'm up fro any suggestions. I think Robin had some ideas. So put forth any comments.

I'm all for what you've suggested. If you need a car to tow a big trailer, I'm sure we can get my moms Prado out. I can't ferry anything but people and bikes in the corolla.
Just realised I've got work in the morning untill about 11. I can give one of you the keys to the lot and meet you there or summink.

Errr.... luke; are you okay with the above? We seem to have organised all this, but we have to be able to get to your stuff too!
I gave Brad the keys to the lot, so people can meet up with him and get there early.

Yere what Robin said Luke. I've got the key, so what is best for you?? Myself and any one else we can rope in can come to your place and go to were ever you've the gear stored, or we can simply meet you at where the gear is, in the morning, cart it over to freo and get building.
Although i just relised that my folks are off on this long weekend and are prob taking the ute, the only vehicle I can get my hands on with a tow ball. Now if any one can tow a trailer I've still got a duel axle trailer at my disposal, but I guess I'll be driving my van over. It can take a bit but not as much as a ute and trailer.

Brad I was going to ask Jonathon but his is taking his dirtbike out and my VL hasn't got a towball, also jono had a dual axel we used the other weekend but he'll be taking that as well. I am very keen to also try and "obtain" some good newish chep paletts.
the RCR yard has all the stuff we need bar some really good pallets. Iguess we need to locate a vehicle with a towball

My Skyline has a towball. My Skyline has 6 cylinders for towing trailers. My Skyline f**'n died on Monday arvo (alternator is shot). Sorry guys. Looks like I'll be chasing car parts this long w/end instead of building/riding. Uni also starts next Monday, so I'll miss that too.
Enjoy,
Dave.

oh... that sucks dave. Well I've still got my van but i can't fit the large things in. And if your looking at pallets, chep might be good, but they are heavy, and come with a fine if caught with them. I would recomend lokking for good non-returnables. These are the unmarked ones. If any one has a vehicle capable of towing a duel axle trailer let us know. We would love the help. ;D

Guys, I'm trying to source a vehicle for us to use but I sort of out of options. I'll need to sort of know if I or anyone else will be able to get hold of what we need to build this weekend as if it's not a go'er i've got some IT work that I got to do down in Bunbury and will do if we can't get the stuff on Saturday. I'm quite sure I can sort out something but all vehicles I had in mind to use are in use this weekend. If we cant get it this weekend then maybe another weekend would be a better option, but still go riding as planned. I am dead keen to build this stuff still though.

Allright; chill people. I can get my moms car no worries if we need it - A Toyota Prado 3800 so it'll tow a dual axle trailer without any problems.
BUT... I only finish work at 11:30. so; we can either start then, or try to ferry stuff over friday evening so you boys can work with it sunday morning. (I'm actually free all of friday). Let me hear what you guys want by tomorrow pls.

Its a bit late tonight, so I'll call you tomorow night and sort this. I''m OK with starting a bit later, it might mean we get a bit less build time in, but I think that at the moment the hardest thing for us to organise is to get the gear transported. So prioritise. First thing to do is get gear to Freo. Second thing to do is to build, but not if it cuts into my ride time... So I think you come around to my place, pick up the trailer, you take the prado, I take my van to RCR, we meet Luke, load up as much stuff as we can fit, and take it to Freo. Sounds pretty good sorta... hope no objections. I will call both Luke and Robin tomorow night (Thurs 27) to confirm and organise the rest of the details.

Excellent !!
Sounds good, thanx robin for getting the vehicle as I had hit a dead end. By the way I have also approached Mech Services at RCR and first indications are I may be able to get access to the 'Metal' scrap yard, and if so that'll hopefully give us all the tubing, pipe and lenghts we need for brads boxes and obsticles.
I'll speak to you tonight
