New post just to clean up.
So, here's the deal so far: We're going on a trip to Albany during Easter. Leaving either thursday the 17th early afternoon, or friday the 18th in the morning.
How long are we staying guys? Four days? Easter break ends on tuesday the 22nd.
Looks like we're staying at Luke's friends place. Thanks for organising that man; let him know all we need is a place to put our tents or something. There's not all too many of us.
Everyone's been told. Here's the guys who are keen on coming: Brad Kuba and Pieter (maybe their girls) Luke Robin Trick Keen but not sure: Daniel Brent
You think your friend can handle that, Luke?

OK, now that we have 10 or so going, it's a bit to much for Keiths place.
What I have done is booked to powered sites at Mount Melville Caravan Park in Albany for Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night and sunday night.
Cost as follows for the entire time we stay it works out at $38.00 per person. This covers accomidation for the hole 4 night, good deal I think.
We have powered sites(stero ect) and showers and good news there is a camp kitchen.
We can get 4 tents on each site. Keith will be coming over and staying, but we should be able to drink at his place when we go for a bit of a party mission at nights.
continued in post 2(think I might reach word limit per post)

The park is situated close to town(walking distance)
Now I need absolute definent numbers, I would hate to have to pay for an extra site if only robin brad come(there the only ones I know are dead sure at this stage)
As far as I am aware after discussing on Saturday the people who are firm to go are
Marcus ( please confirm ) Robin (solid) Brad (solid) Trick (please confirm) Cuba (please confirm) Peiter (please confirm) Peiters Girlfriend (please confirm) Cuba Girlfriend (please confirm) Daniel (please confirm) Brent Fox (please confirm) Luke(me)
I have put my card down on the bookings so we're definently got them booked, but will pay in full on arrival.
Could everyone please confirm, I will be doing a ring around this friday as I know some people dont look at this site to often.
On another note a friend of mine has constructed a three way four value 'funnel of terror'. I expect each and every one attending to at least handle 3-4 beers through this monsterous beer consuming device. Of course naked streaks down the main drag of Albany to scare old women will be excepted in Lui of the beer consumption or in combination with would would be more likely.(marcus that means you)

Pieter is likely NOT coming now.
You think the caravan park is worth it? We're not all rich you know; just a free campsite would be good enough for me...

Ok guys, gota be firm here if I dont have reply back by Friday I asume your not coming. If this is the case that only me, you(robin) and brad are going then there is no problem staying at keiths. This option would cost nothin and in all honesty is my prefrence cause it cheap and easy. Ok at this point if no one confirms only brad robin and me are going, if nothing changes from this by Friday I will cancel the campsites.

Ok updated, I have cancelled one of the sites, as there are less numbers, however I think it's pushing the welcome at keiths.
Anywaywe still have one site at the caravan park. Works out at $32.00 each. Now if any one is a bit short dont worry I will cover it, but if ya can chuck in let us know.

Add in confirmed: Trick, Kuba, and Angelica.
Looks like three cars: Brad's van, Trick's van, and my Corolla. Kuba is bringing professional video equipment. Will prolly chuck it into one of the vans.
Total now stands at 7. Going... Going...

Luke, it seems quite a few people are keen for trying to leave on thursday, maybe around three o'clock. how are you for this?
A total of seven coming. you sure we can't fit in with Keith? Brad and trick will sleep in their vans regardless. A second can sleep in trick's van. I'll probably share a tent with daniel or something.
Sure he doesn't have room for two tents in his backyard or something?
A campsite is fine by me, but I don't know if you included thursday night for that?
Let's assume a drive of around six hours. If we leave thursday try to limit night time driving. If we leave friday aim for arrival around 12 or 1. Probably just buy our first meal there to make things easy. And you don't have to worry about keeping drinks cool; Brad has a carfridge... We're saved.

Yep I have included thursday nightin bookings, yep I have organised to get off at 12oclock on thursday so we can leave as planned. It takes me about 3 1/2 hours when I drive on ALbany highway.
Ya I think the caravan park will have to be the go. It was a bit of a bad deal that I couldn't sqaure numbers off a week ago cause I could have gone staright to keith and said ok heres the deal and could have said the exact number, but as people have been changing left right and center, I dont think he trusts my final word on it, he's cool and not stressed but he's pretty keen to stay at the caravan park himself as it means absolutle no stress as his mum work all hours ect and his brothers there to so. As I said beofore if cash is an issue with anyone I can take care of it but just chuck in what ya can.

Kewl, we'll have luxury!
Everybody is good to go anytime after twelve on thursday except Kuba. He has an important assignment he can't get out of. He should be able to leave around 4 or maybe a little later. If we do that we'll be driving for at least an hour in the dark; I don't mind all too much, but really would prefer going before. Kuba is fine with meeting us on friday otherwise.
We won't make it in 3.5 hours from here; you have to take into account Brad's old (but trusty) van, and the fact that during the easter brake albany hwy will be crawling with cops. Be surprised if we don't get pulled over at some stage.
We need to figure out where to meet. Daniel will come to my place around noon. He will probably drive Trick's van if Kuba doesn't come. I will get Trick to meet me here too so we can stack everything in his van.
Luke, are you going with Brad? Or driving yourself? Brad could probably pick you up and we'd meet you guys along Albany hwy somewhere.
Hmmmm.... did I miss anything? please let me know. Should we organise who's bringing what foods or something? Should we aim to leave around 2~3?
Oh yes, I also MUST get one of those cd-to-tape adaptors for my car off someone; I CANNOT LIVE FOR EVEN THE SLIGHTEST TIME WITHOUT MUSIC while we lose reception along the hills.

Excellent, sounds good. Brad if possible could you pick me up on the way to robins, um well it's I guess sort of longwayroundabout on the way to robins(hehe). I'll fix ya for fuel ect for th trip just let me know when we're cruisin. Just to let ya know brad I plan to bring 3 man tent, sleeping bag, suitcase, pillow, box of cooking implements, backpack and small bag of tools and a matress and of course my bike. As there are a couple of large grocery stores down there we can get very competitive prices for groceries down there so I think it best to buy down there.
I will post a list of other things that we should probobly bring tomorrow morning.
I think if we can rustle up a large waterproof tarp and poles it would be good to sort of sit under but theres good common areas to sit under in the park also deck chairs and other misc stuff(i'll put it in the list)

Just to mention, the most important thing is to make sure ya tent is fully waterproof as i've camped down there quite a few times and it gets real wet and cold if the weather goes real bad.

cool luke. you can leave your car at my place for the weekend. If you don't know my add I'll send it too your private Mail Box. Have we decided what time we are going to leave? If not how does 2:30 sound to everyone? Or stuff every one how does it sound to you and we can meet the others down there, and travel at our own pace (100Km/h).
And it is affermative, I have secured use of my Dads car fridge. I will still be throwing in the eski though, so we have something to keep the beer cold.
Might be worthwhile posting the add and name of the caravan park that we are staying at, for the others.
Oh and what is daniel's travel arrangments? Is he going down with you Robin?
as far as food goes, I'm going to bring a heap for the weekend for my self, some of which can be used for dinner at sometime, as long as others chip in for food at some stage. We can still do a buy up when we get there, but it is just more convenient, and cheaper for me to do it this way. I'll be able to bring a stove and some cook wear too, it prob wont be enouhg to cook for every one, so could someone else atleast, make sure they bring some gear.

oops, just read the second page. Umm I can pick you up on the way or you can come to mine, either way, but I wont be going via Robins. Its a long way out of the way, like an hour. All that gear is fine, it'll fit no probs. the time still stands. I've got to pick up my back wheel either on the way to yours, or after, on our way to Albany, from Cannington. Blew it up on Sunday!! As far as tools go I've got most of them already. I'll see if theres any that You have that I don't when I get to yours or visa versa

Brad, I just remembered last night how your place is one hundred times closer to ALbany than robins so yes that would be silly for us to meet at his place. I can meet at your place and leave my car there. Brad I get off work at 12.00n so I'm keen to cruise anytime after that, dont know about you but earlier the better.
Also there is a camp kitchen so just keep that in mind as they may reduce the gas bbq or stoves we neeed to bring
