for next w/end 18/19th, does anyone fancy a skill building session at the lot eg going for BIG ups on pallet stacks, making some obscure lines with several poss. paths, just trying out new moves in a more flexible location etc..? I also have some more of those long tiedowns that we can strengthen stuff with eg stacks. If not this w/end, how 'bout in a coupla weeks?
Also, I'm heading to Narrogin for the next few days, if anyone gets the urge to go travelling then let me know. Otherwise we could schedule a trip during Chrissy hols...

just got back from out in the sticks, scoped out some stuff to ride.
There's new horsey jumps, and alot of them are either close doubles, slanted wall type things and some other weird bushpole constructions. One item I enjoyed was simply two LARGE size haybails (about 4 1/2 feet high) that I had a damn good go at getting onto (I came pretty close too). The ground is a bit muddy right now, but will be dry later in the year.
Still reckon it'd be worth a trip when a few of us are on hols, free accomadation too. As long as I'm not travelling with Luke's shoes...

how far from town??? hahahahahaha, about 5 mins ride - this is Narrogin remember.. best thing is though, the horsey jumps etc are directly across the road from my Old's place, and there's a creek through the middle of it if anyone is game for some dirt jumping . The high skool has some new brick benches/walls plus a few other bits and pieces, and I could prob organize some more haybails if we wanted 'em. There's some granite outcrops around the place for natural riding too. As for a time, I'll be flat out at Uni till Nov, Robin's prob the same, so early summer might be the go.

hole in da fence is ok. Luke, are you restricted to Sunday? I found out my daughter isn't staying at her mum's all w/end so Sunday is now out Saturday is a better option, though my g/f is showing up Saturday arvo . This is getting difficult . Let me know what's good for ya, and I'll try and make it.....

well I had fun at the lot!! For those who weren't there, we yapped a little about moving all the section components closer to create more continuous lines.
One idea would be to have a central cablereel with different sections radiating out from it. You could start at one end, make your way to the centre, then pick your next line.
Or put all bits in a continuous loop, and just pick a starting position.
Or have all bits arranged in a square(ish) grid format, with lines across both ways.
Or just jumble them up with some awesomely random bits.
Or just whatever.

Like the sound of that Dave, IT would be great if we had one BIG cable reel to put in the middle
