We've got another demo request; this time from CALM celebrating the opening of new national parks in Mundaring. These parks are often used for MTB so they asked us to come in.
This occasion will be at Fred Jacoby Park in Mundaring on sunday 21 sept. They ask for about 2-3 riders doing half-hour demo's probably from 10:00-10:30 and 11:30-12:00, with the actual ceremony somewhere in there.
Because of the limited riders we'll keep this open for the more impressive boys; Brad, Marcus? Others keen?
I'm getting exact details sent through, but contact me if you're interested.

now that sounds like a good offer.
Robin, if the actual demo sessions are only 2 half hour slots, do ya reckon we could go for a group ride after if anyone is interested?
Must be some good natural stuff around there.

Hmm this sounds more like it, you guys will get an apprciative audience and should not have to compete for space.
I do see the valid point made by most about Zanzi, why bust your ass when you can get a much more enjoyable experience and recognition for the many years of practise you have put in, at and event like this and give a good representation for trials.

They requested specifically that there be a limited number of riders present in order to keep things neat and organised. I think it's supposed to be a fairly formal ceremony with the minister being present to do the ribbon cutting or whatever it is they want her to do.... I'm sure there will be good natural terrain around, but be a little carefull with riding as it could well be seen as somewhat disrespectfull to go bashing up a newly opened nature reserve?
I have no idea where this place is or what the terrain is like though; anyone been there before?

Oh, and I've shoved the organising off onto brad because this will be smack in the middle of my exams. Will send him details as soon as they come through.

Just received the details for this demo in the mail.
The day is entitled "A New Era - New National Parks Day" with the objective of the day being to the launch the realease of a number of national parks within WA and the focus being on 5 new ones inthe local area.
The Minister for The Environment, Dr Judy Edwards will be doing the honours.
There will be small areas with stands provided for organisations associated with the use, creation, or maintenance of the areas. We'll have some area allocated to us - suggest you tape it off or something so we don't get people SITTING ON OUR GEAR again. (We're coming in because of the mountain bike boys who use the parks).
I have absolutely no idea what kind of crowd you guys should expect... Maybe they all hug trees? I'm sure there'll be bikies too. I'll pass on all the details to Brad and he can take it from there. Have fun guys!
Brad, I've sent you a msg asking you to contact me. You'll need to come in to pick up a slip which will get you in early to set up.

Judy Edwards was a major factor in the preservation of Coral bay and the stoppage of the marina(as far as I heard) which is great as for anyone thats been there a marina and resort would have destroyed it. Be good to meet her.

Deodorise before you talk to her, Luke... We still want her to survive long enough to open other natural parks!
You might want to get one person to do introduce the riders and perhaps also guiding the people along about what you're doing. If done right it will hold the spectator's interest and add structure to an otherwise mad hopping around on random objects...

Maybe you hop around madly but I don't Robin. allright guy's I will require a bit of help to do this. I need some people to help me get the gear this sunday, as luke and I did not get it on the weekend. And I'm guessing we will need 2 trailers. I am talking my old man into using hid ute and trailer, but we will still need to hire a trailer and have some one to tow it. Dave, I was thinking of you?? Are you able too? We will load my trailer this weekend, and keep it on there, but will have too get the other one loaded on sat arvo for the demo on sunday. Dave can you reply whether you can do this or not... and I would like 3 other volunters plus my self too load this stuff on sunday if possible...

Trick, if we could borrow that truck you mentioned to take the gear up to mundaring on the 21 it would be great... would prob need to load it on sat the 20 for convenience and would be finnished with it by sunday arvo.
This would save us having to hire a trailer for the event, not to mention make it more convinient.
How big is the truck? I can drive it if needed... as I have my Heavy Rigid drivers liscence.

Robin you are right, I should Deodorise, it would be to much for one mortal woman to bear ,she would be overcome by uncontrollable lust and I would be forced to make passionate love to her, an experience that she would not forget. Foreever more longing for the same fulfilment, she would be forced to resign from politics and would no longer be able to open the remaining parks as you so rightfully pointed out. Oh, while on the subject of making passionate love, I highly recommend you try it one day.

And BWAM! What a hit! Well done!
I warn you, however, not to make any assumptions just because I am the junior within this community and still a schoolie!
Did you manage to contact Rohan, Brad?

Robin actually I take that on board, I do stink. But I am a passionate love maker, my hand can vouch for that. And if marcuses ars could speak it would also vouch for me.

Oh boy... There are unwritten limits which dictate how far you can take the mental pictures you draw up, Luke... AAAAARGH!
A quote for you: "Sex is like a card game... You don't need a partner if you have a good hand"

I'm looking at keeping one trailer loaded and getting the other hired one loaded next sat... unless we have 2 trailers at our disposal of course... that of which I am not sure of... I know I am borrowing my dads, does some one else have another?

Riders??
Who is riding this? Marcus are you still keen as indicated earlier? Need to contact the poles as well... I know I am, if marcus is in then thats all we need but the poles can come too if their available. If all 4 of us ride that will be plenty as they do not want too many riders... but feel free to come and have a look, any other riders can talk too people and tell them about what we do.

Hey Robin could you message me throught eisteins ph #, as I don't have it, and if the poles don't want to do it, then maybe he could come up and have a play.
Oh also the weather could be a bit dodgy, we may get lucky but bottom line, if its too dangerous we wont ride but if we can manage then we will do our best.
