Who's up for a ride this weekend? Any suggestions?
We could do east perth 4pm, ride to my house at 6-6:30, get pizza (10min ride on 20") then go to hyde park (2min ride) for an hour more riding. There is some lighting, i should check it out to see if it's good enough. any day is fine for me - depends on the weather.
back of kings park is another option - probably not the best on the weekend though. we used to ride at subi, kings park or west perth in the evening on wednesdays in the hotter months, and a weekend ride!
how does one contact the non internet people for rides? i'm assuming robin or brad usually does, neither of which is riding in the next few weeks.

Actually neil, I'll probably come along on one more ride (Just found out my first exam is a week later than I thought... I love it when that happens...)
I like your thoughtline, Friday sounds good. Sat also but I won't join on sunday. I won't stay after stuffing myself though; if I do attempt to do so please break my legs and send me home. Don't injure my hands though, I need them during these high-stress periods. For writing that is...
We tried to get the weekday rides going again at the start of the year, but didn't really have enough interest. We'll try again this summer.
I tend to contact those lesser fortunate characters. On the "riders" page you'll find a download with contacts for most. A little outdated though. I have one myself which includes everybody including people that didn't give permission to put their details on the net; I can send it to you - should probably send it around to most riders sometime...
I was planning on checking for rides here and will message others about them also when I'm not going, so don't worry about that.

I've got HEAPS of stuff to do for Uni etc, but dammit I'll CRACK if I dont get out and vent frustration on my bike (poor thing). Aiming to be there, wonder what I'll break in E.Perth this time?

Saturday at 4pm sounds great with dinner and an evening ride after. I dont mind eating then riding as then I chuck up most of the junk food I ate thus avoiding the Fat. Something I learned off a person by the name of Kate Moss.
Neil I agree on the brakes, poor robin hasn't been able to nut out how to change them to the right way round

Nah man, it's you australians who do everything backwards...
You live upside down, drive on the wrong side of the road, have the red and green channel markers in the river flipped, water spins out of the sink clockwise instead of counterclockwise, you have the women on top, and worst of all, you have your brakes backwards. You also talk funny... but that's an aside.
I'm sorry man... But we're RIGHT, and you're WRONG!
