Just a quick question. Is there any way of removing the new sign that happens to appear next to mot of the messages, or do they go off them selves after a while.
Just wondering, it seems that most of the messages are new, even if they are 2 months old.

It's a problem with the design of the forum; I didn't create it so I can't change it.
The forum creates a list on your computer which remembers what posts you have accessed or not. For every one you haven't, it puts in a "NEW" sign. Downside is that this list appearantly gets a little big, so it expires after 20 days or something.... all posts older than that are marked "new" as well...
dunno what to do about it, sorry; You'll just have to ignore all the bottom "new" signs and only check up on the ones at the top of the list.

btw: the "new" sign will only be funtional if you are logged in under your registered username.
If you posted without logging in, the computer can't tell when you come back later that you have already seen the post.
