okay, i am just wondering how good the 'armour-dillo' shin pads are. i dont know much about them, so if it helps they are knee/shin pads, and start at the ankle and run all the way up to about mid-thigh. It has four velcro straps. if there are different models of 'armour-dillos' then i'm screwed cos i dont even know what this one is. oh yeh, how much are they in the shops brand new?
the reason i ask is i just picked up a pair, second hand, but never used (there are no cuts or nicks or any signs of damage AT ALL on them) for only $10...i dont really care how bad they may be (but i can say they offer heaps more protection than any of the FOX ones i've seen), i know this is a good deal no matter what. just wondering what you think about them.
p.s it may seem like i'm boasting, but i'm not, anyway, you guys have got fu(kload better bikes than me, so you automatically win boasting rights over me.

Don't know them; we don't usually use kneepads in trials. Just shinnies. But anything for $10 should be a good buy anyhow.

Sh1t, I've been hangin out for a new pair and just the bloody lizzard skin shinnies are $130.00. I may be wrong but as I've seen em Armour-dillo are pretty good, dog poo if you were downhilling you'd have an excellent deal if they are unused, ya could always cut the knee pads off if they get in ya way or are to bulky but sounds like ya got an excellent deal, you guys guna come along this weekend?

If you want to keep the knee pads on for other use, you could allways just fold it down over the shin part and fasten the velcro to hold it out the way.
Just a suggestion, saves you hacking them up, and then you can use them when you go down hilling or jumping.
