Hi All,
Just a short email to let you know that the second Victorian round of the
Great Southern Challenge with be held this Sunday the 2nd of May at the Junk
Yard, cnr Geelong-Portarlington rd and Point Henry rd, Moolap (Geelong),
Victoria melway ref 231 G4 . Registration at 10.00am and riding at 11.00am.
Please let as many of your fellow riders as possible know this is on, last
time we rode there is was a great success!
The competition calendar has been updated please see www.biketrialsaustralia
for details. I will be posting any trials updates and news that I get on
this site so keep an eye out there for news. Please send me an email at
info@biketrialsaustralia.com with your state, if you or a friend want to be
included on the trials update mailing list.
As the MTBA National Trials Co-Ordinator I would like to get a National
series organised. The concept would be that each participating state would
hold two national rounds. Riders would need to compete in three state rounds
(their two state rounds and one from another state, for example) and the
Nationals to qualify. The rider, form each class, with the best points score
would be the winner. The aim would be to complete the series before the
Nationals so the presentations could be made at the Nationals. The 2005 MTBA
Nationals will be held at Eildon (Vic), the date is yet to be confirmed but
is looking likely to be towards the end of March. I would ask that riders
from each state discuss this and if they are interested in organising the
rounds in their state please send me an email so that we can start the ball
rolling.
See you at the comp if you can make it.
Regards
Rod Smith
