Guys, as you would have noticed I'm sure - the trials theme has been getting a little slack lately! Why is this?
Things slack off when there's no motivation, and I'm sorry - I think it's become fairly clear I can't motivate everyone by myself.
We are looking into formalising the organisation of the group a bit more. The idea being that we split tasks over a few more people. For example, individual tasks that could be taken: Website, promotions, demos, competitions, casual rides - to name a few.
Perhaps that way things would run more efficiently and more will get done - ie we'll get the group up and running again! Can I get any votes, ideas, suggestions to this? If you're interested in taking on any part post here also!
WORK HARD PLAY HARD - Need motivation? I DO!

um, I ride for the fun factor only, so I tend to shy away from being too 'formal'. I relate it to skating - you see ppl trying one single trick all day and just get really pissed off - there's no FUN in that. Skating was once a relatively obscure 'sport', and most werent concerned much with exposure, alot ran from it. Now it's all about trying to get noticed above everyone else - let's not head that way. as for motivation, I have plenty of it to ride, but so many things (mainly skool) are curently obstructing me from riding much. Unfortunately, this is what has to take priority just an old man dribbling on..... .....and on ............................. .....and on..................... ................................................ and..........

Hey dave, fair comments you made. hmm... Perhaps "formal" was the wrong word - but you get the idea, I was just hoping to split tasks up a bit more. Maybe this could make people feel like they're contributing in their own way also - which might keep up motivation!
An old man's dribbling's fine (shut up dave, you're premature for your mid-life!) - but can you suggest anything then also?
Hmm... don't really think we can compare all that closely to skaties - I think the mentality is a bit different to that. As for getting noticed above everyone else - hmm maybe, but personally I think it'd be good to get some attention if we can. Besides, maybe we can use it to make a few bucks on the sideline...
Aside from that, we really should get some competitions scheduled; even casual ones. It's a good way to keep track of where you're at, and a good way to try and get the whole group together.
Yeah, uni takes up a pretty big chunk of time... But I'm aiming for at least a ride a week during busy times still for myself. Gotta push myself somehow!
Maybe another non-trials related something during the upcoming vacation? Movie, boys night out, slotcars, bbq? ;D

yeah i agree with daves philosophy... there is more benefit for me spending time riding rather than trying to organise people to give us money. - but organising group rides and whatnot i'm cool with...
yeah uni blocks riding during the end of semester times... and honours year is 2ce as busy - that's why i gave it up for 2 years last time i did honours. not this time, by bike should be here any month now.......................................................... ps i'll be at uni for the next 3 weekends including this one
if ya want coverage, just wait till summer weather and we'll do ch31 "balls and all". they are keen for freaks and whatnot. have you guys seen blokesworld? hahaha make the effort to see it, thursday night or something

ah yeah. Manji was good! Despite the weather; we managed to get a morning show with a massive crowd (maybe two thousand or so - because the weather looked moody apparently that was tiny). After that it started pissing down, but we did a small indoor thing just using people from the crowd. Then as we were about to pack up, of course the sun broke out... So being the true trials gimps we are we just had a play on our stuff. (and caught a huge crowd again even though we weren't doing any show)...
The setup was bloody fantastic btw. And we had cable TV overnight!

- When i finish writing my book called these fukn Humans - i will embark on working as a motivational speaker - So eer goes my bit - - One of th most important thing to motivate is to actualy know humans and how their mind works no matter how small your task must be - if you want to motivate a person you must find out what motivates him - or if it's a group them - And that is not necesaraly what motivates you - The other is to be humble and not reject people just because they are different - i have taken some of the free ride guys t yor rides and they felt rejected - Thinking yor king or beta than kids or other people doesn't motivate Nothing - This club should be about gettin young people into it - what? - Do you want just boring old men in it - usualy a large portion of people when they reach 20 al they do is work drink and talk dog poo about nothing - Specialy in this dead town that statistics says has the most unsatified people in Australia - So forget about motivatin old dead people n focus on getting more young people in da gang - i ride only where der is an audience in peak periods in town n oda places - i have been stoped many a time - An av talked to kids and parents wid kids n told dem about dis web page - imagine if i always wore the t shirt with dis web page on it - i have lots of time and energy for this sport but felt because i say things that are too contraversial and am a bit out der a lot of u people rejected me and actualy looked at me like i was dumb - My problem is i know so much about the human mind i can read their thoughts and know all of their games - Now think buisnes little boy - imagine all the hits youd get if i wore the wa trials tee doin my weekly 20 hours dat do on my byk - all in peak periods where der is heaps of people - Because i REALLY want to promote this sport - But now it's too late because i'm a start my own tee shirt company and so i can start to sponsor ryders because i eat breathe liv dis shiiiiiiit - life is about opportunities - and if your too blind by the thought that your da king - you wont see people that really are motivated and have much interest and the time to take things far and wide - The piont is that everything great is created by teams wich means you must include those who really want to go where your going - And to do that u must be an oraniser - A Smart Leader thinks of it's people and their needs n wants - Not just his own - Just a lil lesson on Motivation fr yall -
Plase just learn and don't call me or respond to this mez as i won't be looking at this web agin -
