Hmm, I think since last year Mountainbike Australia has "officially" adopted the UCI competition rules for trials. I think WA is the only err "state" who hasn't really conformed to it yet.
We'd be better off just following their set also - not really so much for us, since we never fuss about it too much, but in case local riders ever get a chance to compete interstate. Or if we host a national round next year... (still far off I know).
Can I get someone to type up the "trials" rules section from the MTBA booklet? (I have a copy, but maybe you can find an online version). We'll need it to add trials into the PMBC booklet again (trials is actually in there, but the guy who wrote it obviously had no clue what it was...)
I know it sounds like a big thing, and making it all "official" and stuff... but I figure someone will have to bite the dust at some stage if we want to get some comps going...

Aaarrghh... why do they always have to make things so darn complicated? We'll simplify it for our use. Also we'll have to change the divisions a bit - our group's just to small to seperate them all I think... Or we could each become a state champion in our respective division ;D

Nah, had a look through them as well, they're crap. Let's run off the MTA version (i guess "based on" UCI).
