ha ha will you try and do barrel rolls and loops in the karts?
I went to about the 1st 3 SAE Racing meetings at Curtin last year, and just couldnt see myself doing that on top of the regular workload.
Good luck and enjoy!

Hmmm yeah, I just want to get to drive this year; they really don't expect first-years to have to put too much into design and extra. They've got some decent cars too...

Wow, the UWA formula SAE car just won the design competition in the world series, USA... Out of a 153 world class competitors; pretty impressive.
They're blaming their 13th place finish in the time trials on having to go out in wet weather, while local teams got out later on dry tarmac...
A new personal best 0-100km/h record too; 3.5 seconds! WHEN DO I GET TO DRIVE THAT THING?!?!
I liked the casual comment made at friday's team meeting - "Ok guys, our current debt from last year's car is now down to only $47,000..."
They want to put tyre temperature sensors on all four wheels - $3000 per corner; not including processing equipment. Then building in the tiptronic system also. Currently trial gear shifts going at 150 milli seconds. aiming to bring it down to 40 milli seconds!
Hey neil; you ought to consider joining in hey - they need some electrical people, and it'll really help in job placement. There's heaps to do; Some guy last year did his Phd on the car seat...
