has someone got a recent antivirus thing on CD to lend me?? my computer is doing all sorts of silly stuff since Saturday night  cant even run my Norton Antivirus or enable the firewall anymore btw, the laptop was detecting worms etc after being connected to the others... might need to check your drives as well. |

Heya dave, I had a check of my system and it's still clean. I can get you norton 2002 if you want - I have that on cd. Alternatively there's loads of free antivirus software out on the net. I'd recommend AVG antivirus www.grisoft.comThey also have an online scanner if you don't want to download the whole file - but it may take a bit. Perhaps try their worm remover tool. Let us know what worm it is... I noticed both your systems are a bit crammed dave; I'd say give em both a full reinstall to clean things up (and speed them up A LOT). Windows just starts acting funny when it fills up... I can do that for you if you want - we'll save all the important things you have on there so you don't lose anything you need. big props to Robin for 'fixing' my computer ;D
it's alerting me to a virus called w32.spybot.worm , and the infected file is PDsched.exe, whatever that is...
just something to look out for..
